I think Yes are a real niche thing. People who like them really love them. Same goes for Rush

I haven't had time for Yes yet though i haven't ruled them out.

I did a few days on Rush and the footage of the audience put me off them

One of those bands I felt pressured into liking but really didn’t.

Pixies are pretty easy to "get" - just straight forward songs with some gimmicky spanish bits dressed up with some dynamics and occasional noisy guitar. I'm a fan but obviously dealing with 20 odd years of everyone thinking they invented music can grate.

Love the pixies....although they have been on autopilot since the reunion.

I prefer the Breeders overall but I would.
