Great gig last night.

Eleanor Tiernan was good too.
Hadn't seen her before.

Impressed with Eleanor Tiernan. Some good material, and very likeable.
Lee, on the other hand, provided one of the best shows I've ever seen. Masterful stuff. Great crowd as well.

It was a stand up master class, his delivery and timing are always perfect and his improvisations were brilliant, great crowd as well.

Yeah they tried to make a big furore of that at the time. Partly, I suspect, due to the fact that Lee's wife had a show attacking the Daily Mail at Edinburgh at the time.
Incidentally, there's a pretty good quality bootleg of If You Prefer a Milder Comedian... from Edinburgh. PM if anyone wants a link, since it looks like it's not going to come out on DVD.

Anyone go to see him last night in Vicar Street? Quality stuff- probably the best I've seen him live. Saw the same show in London in November but was much better last night- some great heckler put downs as well...
