smooth some flour out on the counter in a thin layer. Come back after 30 min or so and check for tracks thru the flour. If you see tracks you've mites in the flour so chuck it!

reminds me of that time,
when I was nine,
had a spoon a coco pops making it's way to me gob,
when I spied a load of maggots wriggling about on my spoon,
like in 'honey I shrunk the kids',
except without the cuteness and also it really happened.
