i'd been meaning to go to this skinny wolves thing since it started - then when i do actually to get to go (late n all), i get one and a half pints in, and the place is raided by the cops!?!
'twas cool music up until then anyways.

Yeah, Monty Roller/Sparker had just finished his first record when 15 cops and 2 Special Branch raided Skinny Wolves and shut down the FUN.

Completely surreal "end" to the proceedings on Saturday night - I think there was some operation in effect aginst rooting out organised crime in da city. Fuck knows why they picked on Bodkins. But then again, the lads they searched were hiding out in the jaxx for a while. Were they looking for guns maybe ? I hope they don't make a habit of it. Gavin didn't get to play. We should hit the polis for re-imbursement of lost aesthetic...
