The new Sloan album FINALLY arrived. Over 3 weeks after release. That's bullshit for a pre-ordered cd.
Anyway all that forgotten when the music started. It seems quite good. They've been on a roll for the last 4 records. Let's hope this doesn't screw that up.

curious about this. seems they dug deep to avoid the usual suspects but is it at the expense of decent tunes? (some things are best forgotten.) must dig out my hitting birth 7" to see if i like it now.

Aye, curious about it too. Was surprised that I didn't recognise the name of one band or song on it. Thought I knew most of the stuff from that era but then I realised I only know the sub pop stuff. Any good?

I haven't listened to it yet, but I'm expecting hit & miss. Its a 2 disc pack. Might be a bit of a stretch. I'd prefer 1 great one, rather than 2 patchy ones.
