Beidh na laochra punc ainrialaitheach ón Albain ag seinm i gclub Áras na nGael ar sraid dominic i nGaillimh dé Céadaoin beag seo mar chuid den fhéile seachtain na gaeilge! D'eagraigh cara liom ata ina hoifigeach na gaeilge san ollscoil anseo an gig seo le maoiniú o airgead na hollscoile! Do theacs i bhfeidhm!
Is é seo mar chuid de shraith imeachtaí chun grupaí ceoil a dtugann tacaíocht do mhion-teangacha a cur i lathair. Ta suil a'am go mbeidh dream mór daoibh an, beatha teanga í a labhairt ag deireadh an lae!!
Cead isteach saor in aisce freisin!
O sea, beidh mé féin ag tabhairt caint phoiblí faoin ainrialachas agus an troid in eadan an coras capitialachas agus mar sin de (trí gaeilge ar ndioigh!) an oíche céanna ag a sé in áit ar bith san ollscoil. Ní bheidh an ach na gnáth rudaí a dheireann na platformists ach tá seans maith go mbeidh na hAlbannaigh ag tabhairt cuidiú leis. Fearadh na fáilte romhaibh uile an más mian libh breathnú orm faoi strus is ag deanamh a thuilleadh botún gramadaigh! Ah bhuel, is fearr gaeilge briste srl...

Achomire i dteanga na banríona:
Next Wednesday the 14th, legendary Anarcho Punks Oi Polloi are playing in áras na nGael in Galway as part of Seacthain na Gaeilge, which is generally pretty strong in this neck of the woods. Part of a series of events showcasing bands that sing in minority/endangered languages. Tag along to áras na ngael for a bit of craic sure, it's free in anyway!!
Along with tonnes of other events over the week, Radio na Gaeltachta's deadly Cabaret Craiceáilte is also on Tuesday in the NUIG college bar if any of ye are extra anxious to practice your gaeilge. Sure to be a blast!
Also, I've been asked to give a public talk in Irish on Anarchism the same night as Oi Polloi at six o clock in the university. Feel free to tag along to that also if ya want, Oi Polloi will quite probably help with that too and I'll struggle to explain the labour theory of value or something horribly awkward like that in Irish, yeowwww!
