^I was going to post something similar to the Neil Young mailing list I'm on but they're a bit intense over there.

In an unrelatedly related note, I'm currently listening to a bootleg from the Trans tour and it's fucking deadly.

I often spot that Trans album around, but haven't had the balls to go for it. Is it any good?

I saw two albums by Neil Young in a shop today both from 2014. What's going on here? Enlighten me.

The first one was sort of fun, just Neil and his guitar in a vintage recording booth, recorded straight to wax. I enjoyed it the few times I listened, but haven't been much compelled since.

The other one is a big massive orchestra thingy, sounds spectacular but is pretty dull....

I quite liked that solo one and I've taken a severe turn agin him in recent times. I suppose it's because he didn't write any of the songs that I liked it.

The covers album is really nice, te orchestra one is instantly forgettable.
