MORE UNPROVOKED GARDA VIOLENCE (1 Viewer)

He could have been more polite by opening the door instead of making everyone shout through the window just because the motor was broken. thats fairly bad-mannered. Not that he deserved to have the window broken or anything but he was hardly polite.

surely if you dont produce your licence and refuse to pull over, they are supposed to take your details and send a summons or something. i dont think smashing a window is really the recommended procedure.

Considering the Gardais reputation in that neck of the woods I wouldn't even open a lucky bag in front of them.

I agree, gas that we had Irish human rights groups up in arms when Chinas vice president came ashore last week. Pity these same bleeding hearts weren't in similar form when Irish students were being bashed to pieces (whilst sitting down I may add) by Tianamen Square Gardai cunts last year.

Here is a shocking video of trigger happy knuckle head US cop, murdering a half deaf homeless native Indian man for just crossing the road.

His crime? - carving a piece of wood with a penknife.

Steroids? Have you seen the state of most coppers here?

I was referring to the yankee cops, buy yes I get your point.

Skinny Gardai armed with batons and below average IQ represent a similar danger to Thumped residents.

Not at all angry, sorry! What I meant was its not a 'crime' unless its so prescribed.

well thats not a point, basically. that assumes that law was a book found in the desert on top of a mountain like the bible, and we just all went with it, when in reality law is an evolving form based on what people consider to be the norm. if (though i'm starting to think its 'when') a garda finally beats someone to death in one of these protests, we'll all be looking at the legality of cops carrying batons. law starts and ends philosphically, even when it is bought and sold.

no, that would be naturalism. positivism means the validity of the law derives from its sources, not its merits. that doesn't imply that it is god-given. you're thinking of naturalism.

when in reality law is an evolving form based on what people consider to be the norm..

in reality? don't you mean 'in theory'? and from where are people deriving the norms you speak of, if not from the law?

law starts and ends philosphically, even when it is bought and sold

if it starts and ends philosophically, how is it also based on the norms that people are considering as well? isn't that a bit of a contradiction?

if (though i'm starting to think its 'when') a garda finally beats someone to death in one of these protests, we'll all be looking at the legality of cops carrying batons.

i bet you a million billion pounds that the legality of allowing police to carry batons is never questioned.
