Can anyone recommend someone for mastering? We've self recorded the ep, and are mixing it now.

fergal davies did rednecks stuff and is good. i think steve fanagan does stuff as well..

on the more expensive side, loud mastering in uk are good and sterling sound in new york are awesome.. a guy there called steve fallone..

Anyone care to post links to a before and after situation? A pre-master MP3 and a mastered example of the same song? It would be useful to see what got fixed and how well it was done.

Didn't Bob Weston strike out on his own from Electrical Audio in the last couple of years? Think I saw a thread about it here saying that he's very cheap considering all the bands that he's worked on in the past.

I used Golden, and was happy with that.
One thing - if you do send it somewhere like that, you're going to be waiting for a month or 6 weeks. So if you want something done yesterday, stay local I reckon. Depends on your needs, of course.

It is perhaps the kind of thing this forum would be good for - a group learning type thing.
