hi i am converting to download . i want to get an ipod. where is the best place online to get one

cheapest would be from the US with the strength of the euro. thing about apple products is that they have a set price for each territory so bargains can't really be had unless it's a last gen product. alternatively best place is apple.ie

I brought back a 160GB iPod from america for a friend last week. Just checked my credit card bill. It worked out at 275 euro, 100 euro or more cheaper than you'd get one here.

Seriously, hold out til you go, or know someone going. I think I'm going back over next month. I'll even get you one. Don't go buying one here. Too damn dear

i got a new generation iPod shuffle for around 50euros including shipping a few weeks ago on ebay. not a bad saving condsidering there arround 80e in the shops here. Poxy bastard sent me a green rather than orange one (could have been worse, could have been pink!!), but apart from that all was funky.

not if you only haqve a gate/boarding card for dublin though.
happened to me with cigarettes and ipod charger last week.
fuck gatwick.

that would probably be the Duty Free shop, not Dixons Tax Free shop. Dixons don't sell cigarettes, like.

Our TAX FREE prices are available to every passenger with a valid boarding pass to give you a great deal wherever you are travelling

a lot of the iPod gear on ebay is stuff bought on consignment from the apple refurb shop. you could probably get the same deal directly from apple.ie yourself. maybe.

probably the little baby shuffle. They're neat little things, but only really serve one purpose. You can't listen to albums right through and you can't choose what you want to listen to.

shuffle are 1gb, so arround 200-240 songs. you can choose what songs/albums you want to listen to but it requires a bit of eh.., shuffling. :)

My friend got me a 16GB iPod touch when he was in Florida last week, saved nearly 100 euro on the price of it here!

It is awesome.

You can have it on shuffle or it will play the artists in alphabetical order. So if you want ten albums you can listen to all of them in order or hit next over and over to get to the next album. Or put it on shuffle until it hits the artist you want to listen to and then switch it off shuffle. It just takes a bit of tinkering put is really handy, especially for the gym.

i got the 80GB iPod Classic

it only cost 250 from the Apple site
i love it

i've now figured out how to convert my avi files into m4u so i was watching The Crazies on the way into work this morning!
