Well, week before last the kids were heading on a playdate with a pal from school. Heading to the car, on their scooters, T1 faceplants into the pavement. Front tooth gone, second front tooth bent in. (Both babyteeth) The trauma.
Paddies weekend, her sister is doing a dance for a teddies birthday, wearing tights, faceplants straight on her jaw. The PTSD on everyone's face. Thankfully no teeth missing, but lots of blood.
Kids are legends though for getting on with it, once the incident is done. They'll stand at sinks spitting out blood, wait in weird hospitals doing what they are asked.
Shout out to the Dublin Dental University Hospital. Second time we have needed them as a family unit and they come through.
Next one can't be far off.
