I've become completely obsessed with Felt in the last few weeks. All I have is Stains on a Decade and a couple of songs from other records, but Primitive Painters and Crystal Ball are such beautiful perfect pop songs. And he's such a fucking poet! I want to be in a c86 jangle-pop band.

theyre all available on reissue from cherry red. all amazing! forever breathes the lonely word, poem of the river and ignite the 7 cannons are my personal favourites. such a great band.

primitive painters is the most deadliest song ever recorded.

oh yeah I was just listening to that one - it's called Sunlight Bathed The Golden Glow, off The Strange Idols Patterns And Other Stories.
There's a pretty good indiepop playing over here at the moment called The Strange Idols, apropos of nothing.
