This is taking place upstairs at Anseo.
doors are 8pm and its a fiver in.
Seamus Fogerty:
I write songs. I play a couple of instruments and i like throwing a bit of electronica into the mix and seeing how it all swishes around together. I've been lucky enough to perform with people like John Martin, James Yorkston and Mark Eitzel and lots of other great musicians. I also played a set at the Fence Collective Homegame 2009 up in Fife, a highliglight for sure. Everything is curved, up or down
Lisa O'Neill:
Her voice draws comparisons to Emmylou Harris, Joanna Newsom and Cousin Minnie Pearl. "She's an exceptional talent who writes beautiful, funny and unusual folk songs which she delivers in her unique and awe-inspiring voice." News Of the World". Lisa has been working a little bit harder each year and this year she released her first album, named Lisa O'Neill Has an Album. You can find her playing often in Dublin especially, backed by her unusual ensemble of musicians.
Derrick Devine:
"Derrick Devine has the skill of immediately captivating a crowd with his presence, deep voice and between-song banter. A sardonic humour is at play in the midst of his clever lyrics, while songs like ‘Threadbare’ display a gripping sense of darkness and aggression." - Hot Press
