afraid not, but i did recently aquire a 'build your own volcano' set.

there are some crazy crazy nights ahead chez moi i tells ya!

Oh my god, I'm actually really fucking jealous. I used to build volcanos when I was a kid, and set them off with baking soda and water. I'd take my nubby little crayons, grate them into the mix, and make my own lava effects, too.

hee hee. my little brother got one off santa at christmas, but he's too 'big' for it. it looks pretty cool. it gives you paint and stuff for doing it up proper, then you add the lava chemicals and the magic happens.

i'll send you a photo when its done ;)

That sounds like the very thing I would have killed for when I was a nipper. Of course, there's still a thrill in building your own out of scrap stuff. The eruption was a bit of a downer, but I was really, really proud of myself.

Please do post photos. For serious.

Stacy, truly you are living the dream!

aw thanks everyone!! :D
had a cool time, spent it in London. Hung out in the Tate, had some mouldy beers, hung out in the lovely weather, went to dinner in a live jazz pizzeria in soho, went to a bar for a few coronas and watched the liverpool game from outside. then, on the way home - saw Ewan McGregor being cool and signing autographs etc. outside Guys and Dolls. I gave him a big wave and shouted "OFF THE TV!!!" at him. we're friends now I think.

it was a good day.

Napoleon Dynamite DVD
Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense DVD
Team Sleep

I love this book. If you like it, you should also pick up Creepy Susie and other tales for troubled children. Like Tim Burton, but a little more twisted and very funny.
