First ever gig (1 Viewer)

Depeche Mode, RDS, April '86. My best mate who's 5 years older than me was at it and thought it was dreadful cause it was full of screaming children, but I thought it was deadly 'cause I was one of those screaming children :)

Jasus, i was at that too. Black Celebration tour. No support and remember they had a large curtain-ish type affair suspended from the gantry which dropped to reveal the boys onstage. Very impressive to a 12 yesr old.

bon jovi sometime in the early 90s. i would have been about 12 or so. went with my dad who was disgusted by the whole charade, and a "rocker" friend of the family who was a few years older than me, and had real bullets on his leather jacket

Which tour was that? I don't remember Chicks.

it was the the Thousand Leaves Tour. you were probably old enough to be in the bar....

Seen them with manic street preachers in cork once, probably 1998. Horrific stuff. That also applies to MSP (burn!!)

i was at that was well, it was a few weeks after Sonic Youth, imagine my reaction when they walked out again as support!!
