"They combine the gut wrenchingly raw sound of a garage band in heat with a smooth heroin surf atmosphere" Mojo
"The Revellions are actually a bit of a revelation. While we've all heard the three chord buzzsaw riffs and swirling organs before, the band achieves the unthinkable by making it all seem fresh and new" Hot Press
"This abrasive and primitive collection of raw punk rifferama and wild organ playing is a highly promising debut that knows it's strengths and doesn't outstay it's welcome" The Irish Daily Star
Three years have passed since The Revellions released their last single “Sighs” and five since their eponymous debut album came out on Dirty Water Records. At every stage of the way we were told “JUST A LITTLE LONGER”…… just a little longer. Their BBC sessions recorded on Mark Lamarr’s show “Gods Jukebox” only whetted our appetite and still we had to wait….and wait we did….so here it is 9 songs, 38 minutes entitled “GIVE IT TIME”….The irony is not lost on us.
Band members have come and gone from The Revellions camp but who remains?
James Lister on guitar and Vocals, Thomas D’Arcy on keyboards and Vocals, Michael Smith on Drums and Brian Salter on Bass.
The album contains contributions from members old and new and spans a riotous five years.
