Alright The Captain
Riding high on the back of 2015’s highly praised release ‘Contact Fix’, Alright The Captain continue their dedication to the road. Now turning their attention across the water to bring complex riffs, synth heft and rhythmic power to Irish shores, their first visit since 2013.
Alright The Captain have established themselves as a sonic force to be reckoned with, thanks to their uniquely imaginative brand of math-rock. Their sprawling and varied career has seen them sharing stages with post-rock luminaries including Mono, toe, 65daysofstatic, Pelican, Tera Melos, ASIWYFA, Maybeshewill, Adebisi Shank, This Will Destroy You, ZU, Holy Fuck and many more.
Recently voted one of Fecking Bahama’s Top 50 math rock albums of 2015
Everything about Alright The Captain’s new album is uncool, but also weirdly cool – if that makes any sense. It’s visceral and comical, light and dark; heavy and poppy.- Musical Mathematics
Steve Strong
Steve Strong is a one man arsenal of beats, tapped guitar and lush, textural melodies. His music is as withheld as it is grandiose, as skeletal as it is layered, equal parts shimmering and pulsing. It glimmers, swings and explodes in all the right places, sliding gracefully from one section to another, played as tightly as it is loose and free. Steve's ability to bridge the gap between technical ability and captivation is completely instinctual, tattooed onto his musical conscious like the art on his body. His music seems to encompass many different styles without feeling contrived or forced, every strand of inspiration carefully placed and melded.
Steve’s new EP ‘Lines’ is due for release later this year.
A Werewolf!
With hits already written like "Chop Yourself Off At The Knees And Pretend Your Tom Cruise" / "Hellbent On Duck Slaughter" A WEREWOLF! will be taking the world by storm and becoming household names! Prepare your ear holes for so many time sig changes your heart will give out and beat downs that will have you punching the person next to you!
A Werewolf just dropped new track ‘I Went Outside Once, The Graphics Were Terrible’ from their forthcoming EP ‘Fun Times For Nice Guys.
