So Fantomas are playing here quite soon, and due to a serious shortage of daycent gigs I might go. Problem is, I've never heard any Fantomas. All I know is that Mike Patton is in there somewhere, and that they may or may not be something like Goblin or some other weird soundtracky type band.

So, anybody tell me what they're like? And would it be worth turning up for?

Oh, sorry, should've said, I'm not in Dublin currently. They are still on tour and will be around my current neck of the woods in a few weeks....

So, back to the original dilemma, should I go?
And what're they like?

yeah - i guess that one album with the latin name that was one track was meant to be kinda gobliny...i dunno neverh eard it...they did an album of soundtrack covers...other 2 albums are zorn worship....guess they were worth seein...didn't have to pay
nothing amazing - s'impressive and all but not total shit losing shit...probably mp3s on the ipecac site.
