JOGGING
[OUT ON A LIMB RECORDS]
"If you like your blues to be blasted away by a band who nod towards Jesus Lizard and Sonic Youth, then grab their album with both hands" - The Irish Times
"A healthy dose of obstreperous rock that alternates between tormented metal and controlled aggression. Pure indie rock with statement drumming throughout" - The Sunday
Times ***
"Acute of lyric and thunderous of sound, Jogging represent all that is noble and proper about the brainier end of punk/hardcore" - State Magazine
"This album is a rip-roar affair and nothing short of awesome. Will undoubtedly rank up there with some of 2012’s best" - Golden Plec
Fresh from a successful November UK stint, this Workman's gig will be Jogging's only remaining Irish show for 2012. Their hugely acclaimed album Take Courage (recorded in June 2012 with U.S. producer Chris Common) was released on Out On A Limb Records in late August and has been called "acute of lyric and thunderous of sound, Jogging represent all that is noble and proper about the brainier end of punk/hardcore" (State Magazine)
Jogging awakened in 2009 and quickly gained a formidable live reputation. They have toured Ireland and the UK, sharing the stage with Wire, Polvo, Ponytail, And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead and Themselves amongst others. Jogging’s music has been described as “an intense, raw blend of post-hardcore and gutsy indie rock”.

NO SPILL BLOOD
[SARGENT HOUSE RECORDS]
Ireland’s vitalic rock scene has once again created musical alchemy in the form of No Spill Blood. A band formed from the much-loved, respected and established bands Adebisi Shank, Hands Up Who Wants To Die , Elk and Magic Pockets just after releasing their debut EP Street Meat internationally through Sargent House.
Matt Hedigan (Hands Up Who Wants To Die, Elk) on bass and vocals, Ruadhan O’Meara (Magic Pockets) on synths and Lar Kaye (Adebisi Shank) on drums took time out of their other bands to jam in Dublin in early 2011 after Matt had moved to the city from Cork. The trio’s shared musical influences, the agile post-rock electronic punch of Trans Am, the playful noise of Devo and the low-down post-punk of the Melvins can be heard melded into No Spill Blood’s spirited hurtling rhythms.

GINNELS
[POPICAL ISLAND RECORDS]
'Instantly lovable, happily and unashamedly insane' **** Hotpress
Ginnels is a solo project by Grand Pocket Orchestra and No Monster Club guitarist/bassist Mark Chester, with live friends Paddy Hanna, Bobby Aherne, Roy Duffy and Ruan Van Vliet. It's kind of like your favourite Byrds and Feelies records being drowned out by your dickhead neighbour’s stoned ‘noise jams’. Except actually good.
