Those of us who have never been through this can't even fathom how hard it is; even that inability to conceive of it for ourselves is alone almost crippling. It's hard to express without sounding cliche, but it's all damn true: you are so not alone. The selflessness your dad possessed has paid off in the family he made, and that, you will never lose.

Anyway, maybe that's all a bit much for the message board, but I dunno. It's hard to know what to say, but I hope you already know that the support from your friends doesn't stop at the end of the week.

Thanks all you guys for the kinds words!
Dad was buried yesterday and the funeral was perfect, sun was shining and everyone sang at the Mass just as Dad would have wanted.
As I said I dont know most of you guys but those of you who know Billy he will need your support over the coming weeks and months so look after him, he is my twin, so if you dont you will feel the power of my wrath!
