Before this thread,I'd never heard anyone comment specifically about not liking HR's vocals. More remarkable considering I think the first Bad Brains record I bought was in about 87 or so.

I got the ROIR Sessions tape on a trip to London in 1989. Within the hour, the vocals were being ridiculed by my travelling companion as being " like something from a Warner Bros. cartoon"
