Is that not quite dangerous? Super-heated water exploding and all that.

It adds to the danger/excitment of the tea making process. But really you wouldn't be re-boiling, just re-heating. Lord only knows would happen to the milk in a re-boiling scenario. I'll extend the study to re-boiling tonight and post the results.

And anyone knocking this idea has obviously not tried it. I bet you couldn't tell in a blind taste test. So to you I say....

I've done it with coffee a fair bit recently. My common-law wife-type person gets up earlier than I do and makes a pot of coffee but only drinks half, leaving the other half for me to do as I see fit with. Rather that than feck it down the sink.

Wouldn't bother doing it with a cup of tea, but I recommend the process. I was pleasantly surprised.
