recently i heard an interview on the radio with the fella from TMBG
interviewer - electric eddie or rick o'shea or someone
anyway, question passed on for other rte 2fm dj along the lines of -
"birdhouse in your soul - a gift or a curse?"
i took this question, as i'm sure the interviewer did, to mean "was having a big hit single like that a gift or a curse?"
TMBG guy answered it as if the quesiton was asking him whether or not literally having a birdhouse in your soul was a gift or a curse...
i don't think he was being funny
maybe he was
it was funny anyway

is the other non-birdhouse they might be giants any good.all i have is that 12" and the b-sides are a bit ...odd

The rest of the Flood LP that Birdhouse In Your Soul was on is pretty good, but their self-titled LP and an LP called Apollo-something fell on the slightly irritating side of the line.

This week I have mostly been listening to:

Dick Gaughan
Some LP of banjo covers of Led Zeppelin
The Slits - first LP
Guapo - Five Suns
The Kinks - Arthur
Boltthrower Peel Session
Skrewdriver - 1st LP and 7"ers
Springsteen - Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.
Some dodgy Ted Nugent LP from a charity shop (Scream Dream) - definitely not one of his better releases
BOC Illuminatos LP
