‘Recession: Opportunity Knocks’

Wednesday September 9th

Metro Bosco Tent, Georges Dock @ 7pm.
Tickets : 6 euro

ABSOLUT FRINGE, in association with Barry’s Tea, is proud to present a mini-series of talks, discussions and debates. Aimed at informing and inspiring, they will provide some of the Golden Moments of the festival in the Bosco tent. See www.barrystea.ie and www.facebook.com/barrystea for updates on the full line-up for all these talks.

New spaces, collectives and initiatives are emerging all over the city. This town hall style evening brings together the people who are spotting opportunities and shaping Dublin's cultural fabric. Hear the ideas, experiences and ways in which a generation address a recession as a fresh opportunity.

Chaired by journalist Sinead Gleeson, the panel will feature: Trevor O’Shea (Bodytonic/Airbound), BrenB (Offset / Always Read the Small Print), Dylan Haskins (Exchange / Hideaway House), Kate Nolan (Re-Dress), Peter O’Brien (Dartmouth Sq/Edenbee) and Conor Bereen (Coppinger Row) and Kaethe Burt-O'Dea (Sitric Compost Community Garden)

Tickets are available on the door and online at: http://dublinfringefest.ticketsolve.com/shows/8527789/events
