Okay, I've been pretty lazy lately about music. In fact, the last six months I've barely listened to any unless you count throwing phantom on (just to have something in the background) and more or less tuning those same six songs out any way. I need new music. Anyone heard anything good recently? I'm out of touch... I don't even know who has put out new records lately. Scutter, help a girl out. Post some songs.

Not really new, but Delorentos' Little Sparks will probably be up for next years Choice Music Prize. Really really good.

also, new albums out or due out from

St.Etienne
James Yorkston
Dexys
Richard Hawley

which could be interesting.

and despite an unbelievably shit gig in whelans the other month, its been on my mind to check out Future Islands a bit more but I fear it won't go well.

The Richard Hawley one is very good, but has split the fans opinions, some think it's too much a departure form what they are used to. The Duane Eddy album Road Trip which was produced and co written by Mr Hawley which came out last year is also well worth checking out

Two Irish LPS worth checking out; The Radiators From Space's Trouble Pilgrim and Pete Hallidai's The Devils Guitar

I forgot about Moonface. Unicron told me about that recently and I had no clue. I saw a photo of dear ol'Spencer and he's not looking so well.
Thanks for the links, some I don't know.
Now I'll listen.
