Inspired by the how many pedals have you got thread.

I've a shitload of pedals. Some would say too much.
I only use a fraction regularly.

I was asked recently, out of all my pedals, if I could have only one... which on?

Took be about a second to decide on my beloved Blues Driver.

The reason being, is that its the sound I've always been after. Its the perfect blend of crunch and grindy distortion, to mellow overdriven "bluesy" sounds.
I love it.

There is a robert keeley mod that I'm curious to hear.
But I wouldn't get my factory pedal modded, its perfect, I'd get a second.

So... whats yours?

For the bass, it's this.

Very useful for fattening up your live sound, adding a bit of growl or using at home or on stage as a DI.

It's gotta be the MXR 80 for me for the same reasons as above but with added full on distortion too.

ah but it's so much more- it also powers all the other pedals, making it king of my pedal board- all hail the TU-2

You could just get the other type of daisy chain that comes straight off the power supply to do the same job.

Who needs a daisy chain with one pedal?

c'mon people, picking a tuner is too safe and uninteresting.
Effects pedals come on like.

And Panty, in answer to your question... It was Mark.

the delay pedal, cuz it's got lots of mental sounds!

it's about 20 years old and doesn't work properly, so you can get lots of non-standard craziness by twisting the knobs

the overdrive pedal isn't that good actually, I think I'll need something soon with a bit more bollix
