Here’s all the latest from Limerick’s Out On A Limb Records.

Hope everyone is keeping well this nice Spring afternoon! First up, thanks to all at the Róisín Dubh, Dolan’s and The Quad, and for everybody who turned out for our 3 label nights in February. We had a great time, and hope you did too. Thanks to all the OOAL acts, as well as C!ties, Guilty Optics, and TarSeer for performing! Ok, here comes some news!

OOAL0012 – windings: ‘Brain Fluid’ Out April 16th
We’re really delighted to announce that our next release is out next month (Friday, 16 April, to be exact), and it will be the first windings release in a long time! ‘Tis a single called ‘Brain Fluid’ that will be available from all your usual digital spots for download. We think it’s an absolute cracker, even if we are fairly biased about these things, and hope you think so too! There’ll be a new windings album out later in the year, which we are equally thrilled about. Seriously; it’s pretty mega!!
A whole batch of shows have been lined up for late April, and windings will also be playing with the mighty Ted Leo in May too. Hurrah!

TEN PAST SEVEN & CRAYONSMITH LIVE SHOWS
Ten Past Seven and Crayonsmith have some shows coming up also – TP7 will be playing a couple of gigs in Cork this month, and will be visiting Dublin also. Crayonsmith will be playing with the deadly Think About Life in May.

Rest and Hooray For Humans are currently working on writing and recording respectively new material. As soon as release dates get pencilled in, we’ll update you!

MISC STUFF – Website & Road Records
We’re nearly there with our new website. It has taken a while but we gotta say a big thanks to our friend Plug who has been working on this. We’ve had a look at the work-in-progress and are very happy with it. The new site will be launched on April 1st.

For subscribers to the excellent Road Records Album Of The Month Club, there is a very exclusive Out On A Limb sampler with the March disc. If you’re not part of the club, sign up quicksmart. Road will also have the OOAL back catalogue on their site very soon at reduced prices!
