Sfumato – These Things Between LP Launch.

It’s been a while coming, but the debut Sfumato (aka Daithí Ó hÉignigh, aka the bloke from Daemien Frost, Giraffe Running, The Null Set, aka the brains behind Alpha Relish promotions & Road Relish co-conspirator)  LP ‘These Things Between‘ will be launched on 1st December.

He’s bringing a 14 piece band along for the launch, with support coming from Mumblin’ Deaf Ro.

After a long, long journey, I am finally ready to launch my first album. It’s been a few years in the making (perhaps more than that..) and I’d like very much if you’d join me to celebrate it’s release.

The launch will take place on Saturday December 1st in the Unitarian Church on St. Stephen’s Green and is an all-ages concert.

Sfumato will be a 14-piece band for the night including, but not limited to, a mini 4-piece gospel choir, a string section and an uileann piper. It promises to be a rich and varied musical experience in a spellbinding setting which will warm even the coldest of hearts.

Support on the night will be from the wonderful Mumblin’ Deaf Ro.

All guitars, keyboards, drums, bass & percussion on the album were played by Daithí himself, with contributions from: Miriam Ingram (backing vocals), Rebecca Collins (guest vocals), Eoin Dillon (Kíla, uileann pipes), Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh (Danú, guest vocals), Mischa Langemeijer (saxophone), Esosa IghodaroNono Madolo, Alice Burke & Christine Nalubega (The Discovery Gospel Choir, soul choir), Abigail Smith (viola) and Lioba Petrie (cello).
