Our album of the week this week just has to go to the magnificent new Flaming Lips album. The Atlas Sound album [aka Bradford Cox from Deerhunter] is on special offer this week and its only €13.99 on cd and €15.99 on vinyl. Fans of modern classical sounds should check out the new Olafur Arnalds album “Found Songs” on Erased Tapes. The brand new Devendra Banhart album is on special offer this week for only €15.99. A couple of nice new reissues of early Bauhaus albums just in this week, both come lavishly packaged in lovely boxes.

Irish band Bats have just released their debut album “Red In Tooth And Claw”. I have to say I am really loving the new Blk Jks album “After Robots”. We have a very limited double 12” just in from Japanese experimental rock legends The Boredoms. Speaking of Japanese experimental rock bands, Boris have just reissued their noise rock opus At Last Feedbacker on vinyl again. Battles member Tyondai Braxton has a new solo album out now. One of our personal favs Built To Spill are back with a brand new album. The first two Cocteau Twins albums have just been remastered and reissued on lovely 180 gram vinyl. The Cribs album is now in stock on both cd and limited vinyl. The new Early Day Miners album is on special offer for only €12.99 on cd and €13.99 on vinyl. Echo And The Bunnymen are back with a new album on Cooking Vinyl this week.

Fans of modern folk sounds will simply adore the new collection from Nancy Elizabeth on the Leaf Label. We have just managed to get our hands on a few copies of the limited vinyl pressing of the Lisa Hannigan album, comes with a cd copy of the album inside the sleeve. Richard Hawleys superb new album is now in stock on limited double vinyl, the album comes with a limited edition signed print and a full copy of the album on cd inside the sleeve. Underground folk legend Gary Higgins is back with his first new album since “Red Hash” in 1973. The new Hockey album is now in stock on cd and vinyl. The Karen O [Yeah Yeah Yeahs] soundtrack to “Where The Wild Things Are” is now in stock on limited vinyl.

Its turning into a week of noise rock here this week and who better than Lightning Bolt to blow your speakers. The new Maps album is well worth your attention. Fans of mellow late night electronic sounds will love the new Nudge album on the Kranky label. Math rock legends Polvo are back with a new album on the Merge label. More late night mellowness courtesy of Rameses III on the Type label. The Rem “Live At The Olympia” album is now in stock, comes as a double cd or dvd / double cd. Former Mazzy Star singer Hope Sandoval has a rather beautiful new album out this week. The new Swell Season album is now in stock, we have all three formats here now [cd , cd/dvd or double lp]. Swedish twins Taxi Taxi have just released their debut full length album and whilst we are talking of twins, Tegan And Sara have a new album out this week.

And finally, to polish things off, our single of the week goes to the very beautiful new 7” from Villagers [all copies are hand numbered and very very limited].
