Headgear is Daragh Dukes, a Dublin native currently living & recording in Limerick. "Flight Cases" is a collection of songs dealing with flight, flying & taking chances which examine "…the potential, or in some cases, actual leap of faith one needs in order to transcend the limitations of the human condition."
This is Headgear's third release, following 2002's "Where This Good Life Goes" & 2004's "Headgear" LP.

The AMC's Mark O'Connor is a veteran of the Limerick DIY scene, having played with Tooth, Golf & Moonboot. His latest work "…varies from dark guitar tsunamis of Lost in Translation, Vict and United Police States of America, to the unconditional love pop of Havana Airport, to the humour of Nu Lou DJ song and Gaypop anthem 2005 motherfucker, all quadrants of the creative universe are represented. The opener Carthago delenda est blues (with the 1st line of each verse repeated, qualifies as a blues song) is a calm, contemplative examination of the darkness from which this music comes. The closer Wind up affirms what each song hints at throughout; the victory of art and creation over what life can throw at you; victory over depression, defeat and even death."
Released on Mockery Records, Robin's Egg Blues comes packaged in 100% recycled cardboard.
