No Spill BloodWindings, Mumblin’ Deaf Ro, Iceland’s Dead Skeletons and a whole lot more play the three day Noise Weekender in Cork, starting September 28th.
Noise here doesn’t refer to the genre, or indeed the noise, but rather Cork online music zine WeAreNoise.com. Together with Plugd Records they’ve teamed up to host the first Noise Weekender, taking place at Triskel Arts Centre, Plugd and Gulpd Cafe from September 28-30.

Headliners over the weekend will be No Spill Blood, Windings and special guests Dead Skeletons from Iceland. Worth seeing for the name alone.

The three venues will also host Laura Sheeran’s Nanu Nanu, rising Cork electronic artist REID, Marc O’Reilly, The Altered Hours, Trumpets of Jericho, Magic Pockets, Für Immer, Lamp, Cormac O’Caoimh, Wasps vs Humans and a special album launch from Mumblin’ Deaf Ro.

Weekend tickets are €24 and include all shows, with two free pints of Murphy’s. Available from Plugd Records on Friday, September 14.

Information on individual shows, updates and programme can be found on http://www.wearenoise.com and http://www.facebook.com/pages/plugd.
