I haven't worked weekends since the mid 90s. A bit spoilt I suppose.
But all that has changed in the last couple of months.
Back in tomorrow morning, 9 - 1.
Poxy corona virus.

No I meant why are people bringing their kids into your office?
Sorry, man
Got you wrong

I guess because people are losing their minds at home with their kids.
And a change of venue with lots of space, (we have an indoor stadium and a candy wall) seems like a good idea.
That's my guess.

Parents and parenting are not emerging well from this pandemic. A tough gig got a whole lot tougher.

I'm getting fuck all done because just outside my window there is a guy power hosing the crud off the roof tiles.

Mesmerising.

i had my first agile meeting yesterday morning, on VC. what a car crash. an hour and a half of lots of talk and nothing said.
best bit was the leader arsing up people's names to the point where he'd ask one of my hungarian colleagues (who we shall call Firstnamezs Surnamezs) a question, and would direct the question at 'Firstnamezs', and then would take Firstnamezs's response and direct it at 'Surnamezs',
said hungarian colleague just deadpanned it brilliantly and answered the questions as if he was two different people. went on for several minutes till the senior person in the meeting got a chance to pay attention and call a halt.
the agile leader had been delighted there was such agreement within the meeting up to that point.
