your favourite albums of the noughties (1 Viewer)

I quite liked Turn On De Bright Lights. Everything else was shite. I no like Arcade Fire nor Bloc Party.

I forgot to add M83's Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts to my list. Possibly Thunder, Lightning, Strike by the Go! Team also. Other notables might be The Moon & Antartica by Modest Mouse and Ghosts of The Lost Highway by Sun Kil Moon.

off the top of my head:

Pan American 360 business 360 bypass
Labradford - Fixed::Content
Animal Collective – Sung Tongs
Future Sound of London – The Isness
Autechre – Quaristice
Yo La Tengo – And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out
Broadcast – The Noise Made By People
Tank – Bedtime For Rio
The Majesticons - The Beauty Party

It really grew on me - lots of amazing melody buried in there. Prob my favourite since Tri Repeate.

Yeah I found that album a real grower too. Only really got into Draft after Untilted came out, and only got into Untilted after the last one came out so I'm kind of an album behind on those lads at the mo. Didn't get the hype for Untilted at all when it came out at first though

Although a month old the new Alice in Chains one is going in there for me!

The Vodoun Effect - Orchestre Poly-Rythmo De Cotonou (2008).
