Last night someone asked me if I was married, that's a first.

I was asked something similar last week, but much more cutting..

- "Are ye not married or antin'?"

It was two young kids from a neighbouring apartment. The conversation went something like this.

Kids -"Do you live on your own"?
Me - trying to act breezy: "Yep"
Kids - not buying it: "Are ye not married or antin'?
Me - "Nope"
Kids - Why aren't you married?
Me - em
Kids -Who do you talk to at night time?
Me - My therapist from now on...(didn't really say that. Just went "em" again).
