New Album “You Can Make Sound”
Out on 9 October 2009
Delorentos come storming out of the traps with a new album, You Can Make Sound, released on their own DeloRecords label through ADA Global on 9 October 2009.
Having already given fans of the band an early taster of the album at the beginning of the year (in the shape of a free download of the title track, “You Can Make Sound”) the first single from the album will be “Secret” and will be released on 2 October.
Delorentos’ second album follows on the heels of their 2007 Top 10 debut In Love With Detail and demonstrates a leap forward in the maturity of the band’s songwriting while retaining the power and accessibility of their pin-point melodies.
It seals the band’s commitment to continue with music after a two year period of trials, tribulations and uncertainty caused them to announce (and quickly rescind) earlier in the year that the band would be breaking up. Suffice it to say that Irish music fans are all the richer for the band’s recommitment to the cause!
The band have announced the following Irish dates to kick off their album campaign:
Delorentos new album You Can Make Sound will be released in Ireland on DeloRecords on 9 October 2009. A full European release of the album will follow at the beginning of 2010.
