I've been taken on as musical director by the World Orchestra Mountjoy Sq. which is dedicated to a deep musical exchange between the various musical cultures that exist in Dublin, esp the D1 area. If you are interested in trying to create this kind of alchemy or you know musicians from the Chinese / Polish / Lithuanian / Mongolian / Roma people etc etc etc ... pls PM me
Workshops are going well and some intereseting links being made already. There will be free workshops and theory lessons for members and a number of opportunities for exchanges and performances are in the works.
This is very much not a professional orchestra in any sense do don't be intimidated.
