Why is Thumped so unstable? (1 Viewer)

bit of an odd one - my page up and page down buttons are behaving oddly on thumped. they appear to jump the page up or down as required, but immediately jump back.
doesn't happen on other sites.

Are you by any chance using the 'go to latest post in thread' link magicbastarder? Might be the case the page is still loading when you're paging up/down and then when it's fully completed loading the anchor tag in the url (e.g. thread.php#post3) kicks in snapping the page back to the intended latest post location on the page.

Yeah. I don't think the guy who wrote it had optimised it for scanning 1.4million+ database records every time it reloaded so it was a bit of a resource hog. There's another similar thing I might try later / tomorrow...
