Where can I buy John McCormack records on vinyl in Dublin? (1 Viewer)

I'd scour the charity shops but the record shop by the arch in Temple Bar might be a good starting place

I was a gramaphone circle in a pub a few months back. A gang of old dudes sit around, play 78s - mostly John McCormack and other tenors - talk a little about each record and drink pints. It wuz da bomb.

you can usually find a few in any of the second hand shops, probably in the irish section if there is one. ebay is a good place to look too - i got 6 for $2. they also have a load of J McC 78s on ebay for $0.50 or $1 (or at least i saw them at one point but my record doesnt play 78s (you can get an adapter kit though - must get it when i return).

have you read gordon t ledbetters biography? its quite a good read, if lacking in saucy scandal

i bought three in that tat shop in phibsboro, and only a week ago another at the borderline weekend stall thing in temple bar. they seem to be about.

I don't imagine you are still looking for John McCormack 78rpm records but I just seen your message and thought I'd reply as I have been left a lot in a will.
