What television series are you currently making your way through? (6 Viewers)

how does stuff like 'a country practise' stand up?
or even the 80s corrie? do you ever skip ahead
if shit's starting to drag?

did you ever get the prisoner cell block H box?

A Country Practice always had well-written stories and plots. Trouble was that it got shafted when broadcast on RTE and HTV - episodes split in half [from 50 mins to 25 mins] and shown over two days instead of one. It went off the boil when Molly died [1985] but up till then it's good.

1980s Corrie is way weaker than the 1960s and 1970s sets but the box was dead cheap [£15 used] so it was worth a shot. You get eight episodes per year and I remember most of them.

Never got Prisoner box. Wasn't that big of a fan and most Aussie retailers won't ship it. AU$1600 or something - plus I heard there's 'encoding issues' with some of the discs. Crazy. I'd buy a Sullivans equivalent though.

Look at it

Curb Your Enthusiasm - Season 6
The Sarah Silverman Program - Season 1
Heroes - Season 2

Just finished Hell's Kitchen U.S. - Season 3

working my way through the Sopranos again. on season 3.

been watching Californication which is pretty cool if a little short per episode.

Need to get into some more series. Thinking Dexter or maybe the Wire or Deadwood.

Full list of everything I've half watched and am trying to keep up with.. I'll never bloody catch up..

Heroes Season 2
24 Season 4
Arrested Development Season 1
Lost Season 1
Sopranos Season 1
Rome Season 1
The Mighty Boosh 2
The Amazing Race Season 11 (though i've watched season 12, the all stars edition already)

Devil May Cry
Death Note
Serial Experiments Lain

I could watch Arrested Development all day.

I frequently do.

Just finished the last three episodes of wire season three at 5am last night. Deadly. Still not sure if i liked the school plot, would have liked to have seen more of the other plots like bubs and the two killer motherfuckers. Good though.

EDIT: Her who played Felicia 'Snoop' Pearson's actual life story is nearly as crazy as her character.

RE-EDIT: Shit, omar is Saul William's brother. God bless The Wire's wikipedia entries, it's the show that keeps on giving.

Started watching The League of Gentlemen again the other night.
Seen them all a bunch of times at this stage but all still hilairious.

what's peoples opinions on this? season 3 is by far m'fave...
the removal of the laugh track just sends it into this other
even more odd place. kind of negative. been a while since
i watched it, but i love me that season 3! watching it all
in one go is hours of uncomfortable silence
