Yep, loving it. Some of the best Lovecraft themed horror I've seen. Each episode is like a deadly little horror movie that doesn't outstay its welcome.

it took a couple of episodes to get into it but its worth sticking with. Its good fun and Martin Shortt is great, doing his best Barry Manilow.

There's a slight kinda air of resentment in these that makes them slightly funny all the time.

watched first episode of The Hostages on Sky Documentaries.
it gave the background up to spring 1979 which was informative but very focused on Khomeni's faction.
the huge amounts of Iranian students protesting outside the Whitehouse at the Shah's visit to Carter would not have contained many Khomeni supporters. the Marxists, students and other members of a broad coalition that overthrew the Shah are mentioned but not really discussed.
otherwise it was very good.

The Morning Show on Apple TV. The first episode was a chore but it gets really good after. Reece Witherspoon is fantastic in it.

Just finished this - had taken a break mid point as some of the gorier ones were too much for the missus.

The last two were savage! such different approaches/look/feel/etc.

I love the whole 'alfred hitchcock presents' type framing at the start.

Hope they do another run of them next year
