So it's a bit like aul lads watching Minder in the late 90s.

herself wanted to watch the Neflix series about Georgina Rodriguez. Fuck me it was appalling, and she seems like a complete prick. Its only 6 episodes butt each one felt a year long, it was so painful to watch.

And then episode 1 of the new Ozark season. That was great. Looking forward to the rest of it.

Yeah I nearly did too but glad I stuck with it. I think they could’ve done without the framing narrative of the guy restoring videotapes and just told the story about the cult in the building but hopefully it pays off

I like that part, both because it fits with a grand tradition of found manuscripts/recordings in weird literature but also because the dream communication aspect is a really cool plot device.

I love how they're advertising this on bus shelters with a big 'Disney' at the bottom of the poster. All the kids on their way to school will be asking mammy and daddy what its about and can they watch it

the new series of The Sinner is good. Nothing new or earth shattering, but its much more engaging than any of the previous ones. I abandoned season 3 after 2 episodes. Might need to revisit.

Ok, this is actually deadly. Occultism, secret societies, ritual sacrifice, old gods, alternate universes. All the good stuff

really enjoyed this - not sure about how they set up for a follow up.

The Expanse. It's still very good, even if it's radically departed from the books and all. It's just too bad they didn't get an extra series or two to flesh out some of the stuff in this last season.
