Watched Tremors, still a laugh, holds up amazingly well.

Tremors, based on being something I will always watch when I I find it when flicking through TV channels, is probably the film I've seen the most times.

Family film night. Trainspotting. The 18yr old LOVED it. I enjoyed it too, the first time seeing it since the cinema back in the day.

Yesterday I watched Get Carter (1971) starring Maurice Micklewhite.
First time I watched it all the way through. Good film.

Get Carter is one of my all time favourites. The music, the grimness of it all, Ian Hendry, Britt Eckland , Alf Roberts...so good.

I watched "The Eyes of Laura Mars" the other night. This scene made me laugh.

Big Trouble in Little China would probably be my most watched of his. Don't tend to rewatch movies the same way as I did when younger.

School Of Rock, helps that for a few months as a small child my son wanted to watch it everyday.

The Fog and The Thing are two movies I've watched repeatedly on DVD and will watch every time they come on TV too.

The Fog is great. I don't think there's a drop of blood in the whole film, but it has Adrienne Barbeau as a saucy DJ.
Assault on precinct 13 is another great John Carpenter film.
