The Florida Project. Have to say I loved this. Pure magic. Features the bear child acting I’ve ever seen. Was a blubbering mess at the end.

enjoyable off sick, watching in bed movieDeath On The Nile - 1978 - Ustinov, Bette Davis, Jane Birkin, Maggie Smith, David Niven. Some cast. Entertaining and formulaic.
My enjoyment of this was somewhat impaired when my sister pointed out that Ustinov's Poriot is way off. The character in the book would never lounge about , man-spreading all over the place like that. Suchet is the only man.Death On The Nile - 1978 - Ustinov, Bette Davis, Jane Birkin, Maggie Smith, David Niven. Some cast. Entertaining and formulaic.
i've just re-read my post and realized i spelled "demon seed" wrong.i watched "demo seed" (1977) the other night. excellent stuff. deals with ai and holds up very well despite it being 40 years old.
Agreed. Thought this was shite. Dumb plot and awful dialogueThe trailer for Three Billboards outside Ebbing Missouri is really deceiving. I was expecting a fun Coen brother's style romp and what it actually is is very different, and bad.
I liked it. Much more interesting sports biopic than Battle of the Sexes which was a snoozefest vehicle for actors to get award nominations.Watched I, Tonya. It was quite good. Margot Robbie plays her well. I actually wasn't too familiar with her story. It's like a quirkier Foxcatcher.

The plot is a little paint by numbers but the script and the performances lift this from good to almost great. Riz Ahmed almost as good as Gylenhaal in a much less showy role.Nightcrawler, hadn't seen it since it was in the cinema. Still terrific.
