Hustlers. Thought it was very good, but be aware
  • Despite her billing in the advertising, Lizzo is only in it for maybe 3 minutes
  • Cardi B gets way more lines than Lizzo, but still she's only in maybe 3 scenes
  • All men are scum
I have gotten less excited about this after The Kitchen sucked so bad

But that's probably not fair

It Chapter 2

Was good. Enjoyable monster mash. Not gonna win any awards but good for a birthday night movie

I don't like cgi heavy movies generally but this one held the attention

Saw the Souvenir because you lot wouldn't stop banging on about it.

Yeah, really well done, felt "real," so to speak - who wouldn't want Morrissey as their boyfriend at 21?

A film about Richard Ayoade's character would have been about a billion times better though. Is that part 2?

Bait. Fisherman in a small Cornish village clashes with tourists driving him out of business. Brilliant, original, thought provoking cinema.

That sounds great! Almost like the plot to an Eilish Dillon novel, minus the arguments about turf.
