The Kitchen on Netflix. Decent. Very well made. Sets and costumes are great and very well acted. Domnhaill Gleeson is great, as usual.

I really enjoyed Murder on the Orient Express and found this one really hard going. The cast was just bad: French and Saunders looked like they were going through the motions, Annette Benning the same, Gal Gadot makes Pat Kenny look dynamic and you can’t help but spend the movie wondering about the cannibal allegations surrounding Armie Hammer.

Very entertaining, Yemen looks incredible and the scenes filmed in Iran were a pleasant reminder of my holidays a few years ago. It's mad they were allowed to film this stuff in mosques.

X - Ti West slasher about a gonzo porn crew who get served some Texas Chainsaw Massacre style action while on a shoot in a spooky old farmhouse. Fucking loved this. Boogie Nights meets TCM vibe - with a dash of pathos rarely seen in slasher movies - and it sustains the mood throughout. Oh and it has an amazingly effective use of Fleetwood Mac’s Landslide. Quality filmmaking 9/10

Jackass Forever - I lol’d and winced… 8/10

Duffer (1972)

Metal Lords on Netflix. So badly written and played, It's like a rough first draft got made into a film. I'm rounding it down to total crap.

Cop Shop on Prime. Kind of Tarantino-esque knock-off. Not too bad. Its worth the watch to kill a couple of hours, but you'd pick a load of holes in it without too many problems.

The Bubble on Netflix. Chewing gum, lowest-common-denominator, stuff. But not terrible. You'll have at least once.
