Gary, did you see Def Leppard on their "rehearsal" tour of Ireland ahead of their Donnington come back gig? I was at the SFX gig (Rick's first full gig with one arm) and it was absolutely brilliant. They had a drum riser and nothing else. Phil Clarke was incredible.
Saw them almost an exact year later with Hysteria production and slickness and it was crap in comparison.
My bro in Toronto sees them a lot, says he never intends to go but always finds himself at a Lepps gig when they're in town. Bases his opinion of the gig on wether they played Switch 625 or not. Fair enough.

I've never seen them. At that point I totally would have been in denial even of their previous greatness.
I remember they played the Ulster hall in 87,I was outside but didn't go in,we went to Robinsons bar and hung out there instead.
