First gig I ever went to was the wedding present in the SFX when they were touring Bizarro.

Supported by Power Of Dreams.

Good gig - which had been postponed twice in the two previous months. Drummer's busted arm.

They started with Don't Talk, Just Kiss (which was released as the b-side of Brassneck a few weeks later) and ended with What Have I Said Now?

Power of Dreams got a few support slots in 1989 - 1991. Pixies in the Point too. And I think the second House Of Love gig (SFX not McGonagles).

When they played with the Weddoes they were young and raw. Had released one EP, A Little Piece Of God. The track Mother's Eyes was very good.

You're right about the album being huge. NME cover, 8/10 review. Single 100 Ways... played everywhere. Still a decent listen. Follow-up 2 Hell With Common Sense had a deadly track called Metalscape.

I used to really hate Female Herules and then when I saw them supporting the Yeah Yeah Yeahs a couple of yers ago they were great.
