Might not be for you, but don't rule out buying some lump of shit solid state combo amp and sending the electronics off to mother earth via the WEEE. My mainstay for years now is a peavey from the 80's with the head disconnected and my own DIY jack plug soldered in. The head is still there as backup but its probably cheaper than buying a standalone as everyone is back to thinking tubes are class.

True that. I haven't seen any 12" combos under €100 though. Yet
