Pepper Canister Church... don't know it.

a friend of mine told me about this last weekend. Picked up a ticket this morning. 20 euro is unbelievable value for a ticket.

btw, thats the churche on Mount st, the canal end of the st. Not a great venue. Walls are thin and you'll hear traffic noise if its a quiet gig. Also, the seating is level so if you're down the back you might see nothing.

I saw Basinski years ago, if he's still fidgeting with tapes then there's not much to look at so the back will be grand

I bought a ticket for this too even though I fell asleep when I saw him last time and find his albums boring. I'm just excited to be filling up the gig calendar again

He's on the same turf as Stars of the Lid but nowhere near as dynamic as Kevin Drumm's more ambient stuff.

I'll have to listen more deeply now. Break out Disintegration Loops again.

I listened to this one last night. I hadn't heard it before and assumed it was new. Its from 2015, but it was a very pleasant listen. Its bandcamp only.
