centra and supervalu? Really? is that a thing now? They started selling GAA tickets but at least they had some involvement sponsoring competitions.

Saw these last time they were here. Very enjoyable.

staff normally don't know that it is available but I always get sorted. Tickets.ie do the Gaa tickets as well

Juanita Stein (ex Howling Bells) announced a gig in the East Side Tavern on sunday night. She's supporting Bryan Ferry at the moment and is scheduling her own shows on off days.

I saw her in the Grand Social a few months back. Very enjoyable. Her solo album was great and she has another on the way.

Three Damo Suzuki gigs next month, if anyone fancies it...

Damo Suzuki

Damo Suzuki | The Grand Social

And a third on the 27th of May in Cleere's in Kilkenny.

There'll be a lot of good folk playing, Brian and Jimmy from The Idiots, Sean Macerlaine from This Is How We Fly, Steve Shannon, Poppy Lloyd, 3epkano's Matt Nolan, David Stalling, and several others, including a very rusty me. Katherine Sikora is joining us in Cork.

Kurt Vile and the violators will play Vicar Street on November 14. Tickets €28 plus fees. Very well priced compared to other acts who are getting away with charging €40/€50 plus

If anyone was planning to come and see Stoat on any of our upcoming dates (Dublin/Galway/Drogheda) we've had to cancel them all (well, Drogheda not quite cancelled yet but looks v likely to be).

John (guitar player) is taking a very long time to fully recover from a concussion :(
